Where to Stay

There will be a very popular music festival, Austin City Limits (ACL), taking place in downtown Austin on the same weekend as our wedding, so if you want to join us, please make your reservations now!

There are not many fancy hotel options in Dripping Springs.  Unfortunately, Camp Lucy is fully booked for our weekend, however, we have a block of rooms for our guests at Courtyard by Marriott (10 minutes away), or you can go the AirBnB route! There are currently some great AirBnB options.

If you want to stay downtown in Austin, we do have courtesy pricing for rooms at the Fairmont Hotel. Those rooms are not blocked off and will go up in price the closer we get to the wedding weekend. The Austin downtown area is near Austin City Limits, which takes place in Zilker Park, and will be much more congested than outside of the city.

Dripping Springs bills itself as the "Gateway to the Hill Country"

Here are some activities you can enjoy in the area!

EAT & DRINK

You might think that Texas cuisine consists of simple BBQ, fine Mexican food and the original “Tex Mex”, but you can also find an amazing selection of fine restaurants in Austin and in the surrounding Hill Country. No matter what your tastes, you can find good food everywhere from the James Beard awarded restaurants to the high-end food trucks that Austin is famous for.

Not far from Dripping Springs, you will find a wonderful selection of Wineries in Fredericksberg and in other neighboring towns.  You can hike, bike around the lakes or visit a charming town like Wemberly.  If you’re feeling like seeing the city, head into Austin for a day or a night.
